Typical Class Format:
Your instructor will welcome you and ask you basic questions about your background, fitness level, and personal goals. The more you share with us, the more customized your experience will be!
Class begins with 10-15 minute mat warm-up with focus on upper body, core, and basic flexibility exercises. The remainder of class is spent progressing through fundamental skill sets in your chosen discipline.
If taking an aerial class, all the skills in your first class will be low to the ground. You will learn basic body positions, conditioning exercises, and fundamental aerial skills like mounting the apparatus, inverting (going upside down), various positions and sequences “in the air.”
Am I strong enough to take class?
Yes! In fact, the more out of shape you are, the more reason to come to class! We will work with you to gradually build your strength in a safe and sustainable way. There are many skills you can achieve in your first class while you work up to building strength.
How many students are in each class?
Classes have a maximum capacity of 6 students per instructor. This equates to more individualized and safe instruction for you!
Are your classes safe?
Yes! Safety is our number one priority. Our trainers employ the most advanced spotting techniques, and rigging practices. We follow the standards outlined by American Circus Educators Association for spotting techniques and safety practices.
