FAQ

What should I expect at my first class?

Our instructors break down every aspect of class into small, achievable goals. Our focus is to make you feel comfortable, safe, and ready to fly! You will be guided through a warm-up, instruction on the ground, and practice on the low bar. Once you have successfully completed this portion, you will be fitted with a safety belt and soon you will be flying through the air! You are in safety lines from the moment you climb the ladder all the way through to your descent. You will be coached through various skills in the air depending on your ability and interest to progress.

What do I wear?

Athletic-fitting clothing. Nothing loose or baggy. Shirts should be long enough to cover the waist. No crop-tops. Leggings or pants to cover the backs of the knees are recommended. Socks that protect the toes (do not wear socks that will easily slip off). Wear plenty of sunscreen!

Is there a weight limit to participate?

Flying trapeze is accessible to a wide variety of body shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. We do not have a firm weight limitation, but we do have guidelines and considerations. For participants 205lbs and over, there are increasing safety concerns. No matter what your weight, you will be unable to participate if:
-You are unable to properly fit the safety belt and/or
-You are unable to hold your own body weight with your hand grip. You must be able to hold the bar with your feet off the ground for 30 seconds.

What if I registered for a class and I decide not to participate out of fear? May I receive a refund?

No. When you reserve your spot in class, your registration is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Is flying trapeze safe?

Yes! Safety is our number one priority. All our instructors are highly trained and specialized professionals that follow the highest industry safety standards and procedures. Our state of the art equipment and safety systems are rated, regularly inspected, and maintained by certified riggers and staff. Our students are always in spotting lines with a landing net beneath them. As with any physical activity, there is always risk of injury including hand blisters from the bar, sore muscles, or related wear and tear.
